Welcome to our exclusive still life photography workshop! In this intensive course, you will discover the techniques and secrets of still life photography and learn how to transform everyday objects into fascinating works of art. In still life photography, they develop skills that are useful in other photographic areas (e.g. product photography, landscape).

What you can expect:

  1. Introduction to still life photography: History and significance: Find out more about the origins and development of still life photography and its role in art history.Styles and artists: Be inspired by famous still life artists and discover different styles and approaches.
  2. Technical basics: Camera settings: Get to know the most important camera settings that are essential for still life photography, such as aperture, shutter speed and ISO value. Light and lighting: Discover the importance of light in photography and how to achieve breathtaking effects with natural and artificial light sources.
  3. Composition and image design: Rules of composition: Understand the basics of image composition, such as the golden ratio, the Fibonacci spiral and other creative principles. Background and props: Learn how to choose the perfect background and props to set the scene for your subjects. 
  4. Practical exercises. Themed sets: Work on different themed sets, such as food photography, floral still life or vintage arrangements. Creative challenges: Take part in creative exercises that challenge and expand your skills.
  5. Image editing basics: Learn the basics of image editing and how to optimise your photos in programs such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Finishing touches and details: Learn how to put the finishing touches to your images and prepare them for printing or digital presentation.
